About Acuigen
We provide customer and client feedback services to blue chip companies and international professional services firms. Working collaboratively with our clients we have developed the CustomServe Insight Platform supporting clients working in the UK, USA, Hong Kong, Jersey, many parts of Europe and some parts of the Middle East. We recently provide services to a client in 19 languages across 42 countries.
We are based in the Cranfield Innovation Centre, and there is free car parking onsite.
Our aim is to find new clients, and to retain and grow existing clients by providing first class research services and excellent customer service. We only want delighted clients.
Candidate Information and Skills
We are looking for somebody with the following skills:
Personal Skills

Ability to understand and synthesise information (both commercial and information about client feedback services)

Ability to empathetically interact with clients, managers and colleagues to deliver high quality work with a commercial focus whilst maintaining high levels of confidentiality, providing clear ideas and advice based upon the work that we do

Flexible attitude; able to take on a variety of assignments, work well under pressure and meet deadlines

Ability to work in both a team environment and use your own initiative to meet tight deadlines

Strong attention to detail, numerate, and have good logic skills

Degree level education (or equivalent experience) is desirable

Comfortable talking to people on the phone (or virtually) to support the pre-sales process.
Technical Skills
-
Previous experience (minimum 3 years) working as a Business Analyst, Research Executive or in a client facing research account management role (or similar) with a good understanding of quantitative and qualitative research methods
-
Good understanding of using data within databases, and extracting relevant content for analysis
-
Advanced Word, PowerPoint and Excel skills
-
SQL Server/SQL skills are an advantage
-
Organised and able to manage your own time and work in a professional and effective way
-
Statistics knowledge relevant to quantitative market research is an advantage
-
Excellent written and spoken English skills, ability to write detailed documents and business reports demonstrating good grammar and copy writing skills (an ability to proof read documents would be an advantage).
Availability

Able to travel to attend client and prospective client meetings, presentations and pitches

Occasional attendance at evening networking events, typically in London
-
Located within 30 minutes travelling time of Cranfield, Beds.
Principle Duties and Responsibilities
This is a ‘hands on’ role, you will use your skills to represent the company in both the UK and internationally to facilitate client feedback programmes and present insights to clients with a commercial focus.
Responsibilities and accountabilities of the role are to:

Design and cost research briefs, analysing client needs to offer best fit programme solutions to achieve added value for the client

Configure our research software (CustomServe)

Communicate and demonstrate our services and software, and the features and benefits of what we provide
-
Deliver client feedback programmes which demonstrate commercial value to our clients. Look for every opportunity to help our clients
-
Programme management of accounts, and training of clients to maintain robust long term relationships
-
Provide input into the design of online reporting services to match client requirements
-
Sell our services to clients and to potential clients
-
Develop new ideas for leveraging both research and our online tools
-
Ensure a good understanding of and compliance with GDPR, ISO 9001:2015 (quality), ISO 20252:2019 (research) and ISO27001:2013 (information security) and the MRS Code of Conduct

Help to maintain security of the office, site and equipment and comply with Health & Safety and Fire Regulations
-
Become familiar with the company activities and products to be able to provide the necessary resource and support and to understand and be sensitive to client and supplier confidential information

Maintain a professional, positive and willing attitude at all times
-
Be available to attend company team meetings and training sessions which maybe outside normal office hours
-
Maintain membership of the MRS at an appropriate level to your experience.
