In January 2026, Acuigen was awarded a B rating from CDP for Climate Change, recognising the progress we are making to measure, manage and reduce our environmental impact. This rating reflects the steps we have taken to embed environmental accountability into our operations and provides an independent benchmark as we continue to strengthen our sustainability practices.
Ongoing Commitment - MRS Climate Pledge
Acuigen became a signatory to the MRS Net Zero Pledge in 2024, joining organisations across the research and insights sector that are committed to operating more sustainably.
As part of this commitment, Acuigen has agreed to:
- Reduce carbon emissions year‑on‑year, on a defined pathway towards sustainability
- Measure, monitor and work to reduce and offset emissions
- Publish emissions data annually through an industry‑wide report
- Encourage open and informed discussion with colleagues, partners and clients on environmental impact and improvement opportunities
The pledge has supported deeper engagement across our team, helping to increase awareness and accountability for the environmental impact of our business activities.
Looking Ahead
Derek Jones, CEO of Acuigen, commented: “Acuigen is committed to becoming a more sustainable business. By signing the MRS Climate Pledge, we are demonstrating our intention to take practical steps to reduce our environmental impact and to operate responsibly as part of the wider research and insight community.”
As the UK’s professional body for research, insight and analytics, the Market Research Society (MRS) plays an important role in driving collective action on sustainability. Acuigen is proud to support and contribute to this industry‑wide commitment.
