I have always been fascinated by how information can help us make better decisions. As a former Royal Navy helicopter flight commander, I relied on real-time data and feedback to plan and execute complex missions. When I left the service and completed my MBA at Cranfield School of Management, I wanted to apply the same principles to the business world, where client relationships are crucial for success.
That's why Acuigen was founded in 1993, with the vision of creating a market research company that would deliver real-time client feedback for corporate businesses and professional services firms. Together with my co-founder Tracy Bartlett, we created CustomServe, an innovative software platform that collects, analyses, and presents client opinions in a fast and user-friendly way, using dashboards inspired by aviation. CustomServe now supports many research methods and languages, and provides powerful insights and segmentation options.
Over the years, we have grown and diversified our business, working with some of the most respected corporate firms across Europe, the US, and Asia. We have also continued to enhance our software, adding new features and products to meet the changing needs of our clients and the market, such as AI-powered insights.
