Privacy
The information Acuigen collects on behalf of its clients is often personal information. Our success depends on the trust we establish with the people from whom we gather information. Acuigen is registered under the UK Data Protection Act 1998 with the UK Information Commissioner and works to the standards of the MRS Code of Conduct and ESOMAR. Information you give us for Market Research When you provide information to Acuigen as part of a research survey or research questionnaire, we pass on that information to our client who is the sponsor of the research. We will not pass on personal information from which you can be identified unless you consent to our doing so. Responses to questionnaires are normally grouped with other responses and our client is unlikely to be able to identify you from the responses themselves. Information you give us for Client Login If you are a client of Acuigen or are granted access to the site via a Client Login, you may be asked to provide personal information such as e-mail, name, job title and telephone number. This information may be required in order for you to gain access to certain features or validate your presence on the site. Where information is provided to login we will not disclose personal information to any other person. Information you give us for Third Party Customer or Product Registration Where you provide personal information to us to register you as a customer of a third party or user of a third party’s product, we will treat that registration as your agreement that we may transfer that information to the third party. Storage and Transmission of Data Any data we seek or hold shall be adequate, relevant and not excessive for the purpose for which it was requested. We will take appropriate technical and organisational measures against unauthorised or unlawful use of personal data or loss or destruction of data. Personal data will not be transferred to a country or territory outside the European Economic Area (the area which adheres to the protection standards of the European Union) without your permission. If you consent to our disclosing personal information to our client for market research, we will treat that as your agreement that we may transfer that information outside the European Economic Area, for example, to the USA.
